The righteous shine like the sun in the kingdom of heaven |
Then the righteous will shine like the sun
“Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s kingdom” (Matthew 13:43).
To the extent that the children of God bear the hardships of this world with its harms of evils and pains; As much as God has prepared for them of glories to taste in their father's kingdom.
Christ here describes the state of the righteous who endured the hardships of the world and overcame it with their endurance, patience, and thanksgiving. They shine like the sun, and this is the strongest expression of man’s fellowship with God.
The illumination is like the sun, and it does not come out of nowhere, as God has purified them from the darkness of sins that their deeds imprinted on them. The illumination here is holiness in the divine expression.
This verse spreads comfort and happiness in the soul, and makes us feel that our alienation, which is on the land of misery, has this happy ending that no one can dream of.
In the promise of Christ on behalf of the righteous who shine in the kingdom of their Father, we have a consolation beyond that, and we await its realization with all longing, and we do not stop wishing for these days, and is it really our share?
The promise of Christ is beyond our ability to imagine, so we take the words of Christ here as a promise that He will undertake to implement, because it goes outside the circumference of our being, because we never forget that we were taken from the dust of the earth, and our end is the dust of the earth, if Christ Himself does not raise us from the dust of the earth to the truth. The heavenly ones.
